TIME TO FLY
TIME TO FLY, based on the work by Marina Marinelli and Silvia Molinari published by Topipittori, tells the story of Zazì, a young artist always surrounded by pencils and colours, who, by vocation since childhood, takes in little birds that have fallen from the nest and helps them take flight. A house full of simple wonder where, between shadow magic and puppetry, the narrative of the encounter between human and bird comes to life.
The show was created from the desire to tell children about the mysterious and fascinating universe of birds and the relationship that can be built by feeling deeply part of their very nature. We want to highlight not only the important theme of protecting the weakest and most defenceless beings, but starting from these to embrace a broader discourse in which the care of what surrounds us reflects the care and growth of ourselves.
